What factors increase the risk of unethical conduct in your organisation and do you know them?

Do you have a means to measure progress in closing the gaps?

Our methodology include:

Assessments (on site)

We use surveys, interviews and focus groups discussions to evaluate each integrity risk area to determine the level of vulnerability that the organisation faces. We then develop an analysis for the organization to use in setting annual goals, and in designing a customized action plan. In short,

  • we help clients to focus on those barriers that keep an organization and its people from doing the right things for the right reasons at the right time;
  • integrate integrity risks as part of the comprehensive organisational riks profile and;
  • we assess the four key risk areas and establish goals in each category to demonstrate how well the organization is meeting the expectations of stakeholders and regulators.

 These risk areas are:

  • SYSTEMS AND PROCESSES: established by the organization to support its integrity-based decisions and actions
  • LEADERSHIP & MANAGERS: the behaviour of managers in modelling behaviour consistent with the organization's integrity
  • CORPORATE CULTURE: the environmental factors that shape individual behaviours
  • INDIVIDUAL AWARENESS: the individual's understanding of the organization's standards, values and commitment to integrity

 We can deliver information to help you shape policy, and give you the answers to questions about your company, such as:

  • Do individuals feel personally accountable?
  • Does the culture support the standards?
  • Are your leaders good role models?
  • Does your organization have sufficient systems in place to support the process?

Communication, Training & Coaching

Multiple audiences have varied needs and in order to reduce your integrity risks, you will require a blended approach of various training and communication tools.

How can we help you to maximize your need to reach the most people in the shortest time with the lowest cost, while still meeting your behaviour and standard-based integrity goals?

We help you to develop an Action Plan that strives to answer these questions:

  • Does your company's Ethics Code communicate standards as well as the integrity vision?
  • Does your ethics training focus on reducing identified integrity risks, such as developing open communication and a work environment free from retaliation and intimidation?
  • Does your compliance training succinctly set the expected standards of behaviour?
  • What communication channels can be used to continuously convey the integrity message?
  • What learning must the organization undertake, from board members to line employees?
  • How do all the stakeholders become engaged in the process?
  • What systems and processes need to be adjusted to encourage managers and employees to do the right thing?

 Target audiences and programs include:

  • Board of Directors --- Tailored workshops and training for board and committee members to meet new oversight standards and fulfil training requirements.
  • Senior Leader Workshops --- Workshops for senior leaders to review integrity risks and develop strategies to build the team needed to manage the integrity program.
  • Managers --- Training and communication tools and modules to address key behaviours expected from managers in role modelling ethical behaviour and in building work environments conducive to ethical conduct.
  • Employees --- workshops that go beyond the rules in helping create the type of environment needed for employees to feel confident and secure in "doing the right thing."
