Leading Values Strategy Consultants, founded in 2008, help South African organizations (public and private) align behaviour with their values and standards. We work with clients to create ethics and leadership initiatives that address their unique cultural attributes. The outcomes are programs that are meaningful to peoples' daily lives, and result in meaningful changes to the organization and how it is regarded by others.

Our team is made up of experts with extensive experience at integrating leadership development and ethics with an organisation's core values throughout all levels of the organization.

In addition, to ensure that we can provide all necessary expertise to support our clients, we have created partnerships with associates whom we know to be among the best in their field.

Roger is a certified Integral Coach and through his private practice, EagleCoaching, provides executive, life, leadership, spiritual, career and academic coaching to clients. He has completed the Associate Coaching Course and Professional Coaching Course from the Centre for Coaching (Graduate School of Business, University of Cape Town) and New Ventures West (USA). New Ventures West holds an internationally recognized and acclaimed position in the USA market. It is one of the highest internationally ranked coaching schools. The year-long Professional Coaching Course that New Ventures West offers has been accredited by the International Coach Federation (ICF), the world’s largest professional coaching body.

He is an avid student of life and thrives on new challenges. He loves the outdoors and is an enthusiastic long distance runner and cyclist. He is happily married with two grown children.

Roger's coaching work is grounded in an appreciation of the client as a whole person within the context of her/his world of intricate human relations and interactions. He accepts the client as someone with unique abilities, talents, gifts and creative potential, and as someone who is able to live a more balanced,resourceful, competent, productive and abundant life. He has been coaching since 2007 and relishes every opportunity to work with clients from diverse backgrounds and across all levels within organisations. His clients include those who are confronted with personal and professional challenges, change and transition in their lives, and those wanting to set and achieve specific goals. 

Roger was highly active in several community and faith based organisations, working for social change in South Africa during his secondary and tertiary student years in the mid-1970s. He began his working career as a high school teacher in the early 1980s; moving on to be a researcher, tutor and assistant lecturer at UCT and a community organiser of several social projects in the late 1980s. After a fulfilling lectureship in theology at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) in the 1990s, he took up the stimulating and challenging role as full time organizer of the UCT Academics' Union where he played a critical role in advising, counselling, and coaching staff in a variety of employment and human relations matters.

Roger has published academic research papers and chapters in books, and has participated in academic and public seminars.
